Midsummer Night's Fairies Velvet Marilyn Dress

Many artists have been drawn to Shakespeare’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream as a subject for painting, and 19th century British painter John George Naish was one of them. This artwork depicts the play’s fairies in a wild nighttime garden.  

The Marilyn dress is made for parties, with a V neckline that swoops and a skater skirt that spins.
